Semina Quercus/Seeds of the Oak 2025

This project, "Seeds of Oak," is an exploration of potential, resilience, and the biological blueprints of migration. By cultivating my own acorns as primary sources, I was able to observe the intimate, slow-motion process of a seed preparing to claim its place in the world.

Through the tactile processes of etching and printmaking, I have translated these organic forms into detailed visual studies. Each print captures the intricate textures and "invisible journeys" contained within the seed—representing the hope and strength required to travel, adapt, and eventually take root in new soil. This work bridges the gap between botanical science and the human experience of finding a sense of belonging in a shifting landscape.
