As an artist and educator, my goal is to create a learning environment where students feel supported, respected, and valued as they explore their own creative journeys. My approach to teaching is centered on creative inquiry, specifically through the lens of movement and transformation, whether it be the movement of individuals, the evolution of concepts, or the adaptation of natural forms.

I encourage students to critically examine how their personal histories and identities are shaped by these changes. In the art classroom, we explore themes such as displacement, connection, and belonging through a variety of disciplines, including biology, social history, and digital media. By blending these different subjects, I believe we can create meaningful art that reflects the interconnectedness of our world. Like my own work, which examines the hidden patterns of growth and change, I hope to inspire students to see the beauty in the diversity of human experience.
